40/20 UV ART IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION
with RADY J BLACKCRAB
40/20 is an immersive UV art exhibition presented by visionary artist Rady J.
This exhibition is a result of Rady’s artworks curated over countless appearances at dance parties and festivals throughout the Northern Rivers and along the East coast of Australia.
Rady has been constantly evolving his art and incorporating UV paints into his pieces that are most noticeable under black-light and enhanced by the power of specifically designed colour-separating glasses. He observed partygoers and art enthusiasts being captivated as they watched his art transform when the white light was switched off and the black-light takes over- allowing them to engage with another dimension of the artwork.
The observer can truly feel like they are ‘inside’ the painting as the UV colours jump off the canvas.
40/20 will allow you to experience the beauty of Rady’s works under crisp white light and then for the last 20 minutes of every hour – be given the chance to re-experience the artwork as the darkness takes over and the black-light is switched on – revealing the hidden ultra-violet magic, creatively woven into his many works.
If that’s not enough – you have the unique opportunity to create and take home your very own UV artwork as you are guided through a canvas peel, revealing the hidden UV layer beneath – this is a journey that will stimulate your senses. A technique that Rady has been mastering over the last decade.
This interactive expression of creativity is an event not to be missed. Allow your mind to be tantalised and stimulated as your mind comes to terms with what you are witnessing.
